(“BEST”)’s policy to respect your right to privacy in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations  regarding any personal information we may collect from you across our website,, and other websites we own and operate.  This privacy policy will tell you about your privacy rights and how we collect and process your personal data through this website, including when you sign up to our news announcements.

Please note that our website is not intended to be used by children under 10 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data relating to them as such.

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which are necessary for the purposes of assisting and achieving our business objectives, which we have categorized as follows:

Log data

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically collect standard log data provided by your web browser. This may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details relating to the said technical data.

Contact and profile data

We may collect your personal information, such as your:

  • Social media profiles;
  • Phone/mobile number;
  • Mobile phone messaging application, such as LINE application;
  • Your investing budget as BEST’s franchisee; and
  • Your preferences.

Additionally, when you communicate with us to provide feedback and/or inquire about our service and/or participate in a promotional event or survey, we may also collect the following information from you:

  • Information regarding your business experience, and/or your interests in our services;
  • Your residential address, gender, age, date of birth and occupation; and
  • Your financial records and payment details.

Automated technologies

As described above, we may automatically collect your technical data, including log data, when you visit our website and other websites we own and operate.  We collect this data by using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies.  A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site. This helps us serve you content based on preferences you have specified.

Direct Communications

When we communicate directly by mobile phone messaging application, email, post, phone when you express your interest to become our franchisee; subscribe to our service, request information from us, enter a competition, promotion or survey or provide us with feedback.

Third Parties

We may also receive your personal data from third parties, including:

That said, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and cannot guarantee absolute data security. If necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal obligation or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

We may collect, hold, use and disclose information for the following purposes and personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes:

  • for analytics, market research and business development, including to help analyze your application to become our franchisee, improve our supporting services to you and our operational efficiency.

  • For customer relationship management, including notifying you about changes to our terms or privacy policy, asking you to leave a review or take a survey and answering any queries you may have.
  • For protecting and improving our business and this website, including to operate and improve our website, associated applications and associated social media platforms. These would generally involve troubleshooting, data analysis, system maintenance, testing, support, and reporting.

We will only use your data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with our original purpose.  Please note that we may process your data without your knowledge or consent where this is permitted by law.

We may have to disclose your personal information to:

  • Internal Third Parties.  These include our employees, contractors and/or related entities; and
  • External Third Parties.  These include third parties collecting and processing data, such as digital service providers, professional advisers, relevant government department or agency and marketing services providers.
  • Other businesses in an event where we choose to sell, transfer or merge our business or assets with them. Additionally, in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us.

The personal information we collect is stored and processed in Thailand and/or China, or where we or our partners, affiliates and third-party providers maintain facilities. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the disclosure to these overseas third parties.

We will ensure that any transfer of personal information from Thailand to other countries will be protected by appropriate safeguards, for example by using binding corporate rules or other legally accepted means and ensuring that the country data recipient provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Where we transfer personal information from Thailand to another country, you acknowledge that third parties in other jurisdictions may not be subject to similar data protection laws to the ones in our jurisdiction. There are risks if any such third party engages in any act or practice that would contravene the data privacy laws in our jurisdiction and this might mean that you will not be able to seek redress under our jurisdiction’s privacy laws.

Request to access your personal data: You may request details of the personal information that we hold about you. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Where possible, we will provide this information in easily readable machine format.

Request correction of your personal data: If you believe that your information we have is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us using the details below. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date.

Request erasure of your personal data: If you no longer want us to store your data collected, you may request us to delete or remove personal data.  Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to your, if applicable, at the time of your request.

Right to withdraw consent: By providing personal information to us, you consent to us collecting, holding, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.  You may withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.  However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent.  If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to perform services under the relevant contract and it may affect your use of this website or the products and/or services offered on or through it.

Other than the rights above, if there is data breach and/or you believe that we have breached a relevant data protection law and wish to make a complaint, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of the alleged breach. We will investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint.
